Tyler Bell
Ht/Wt: 6' 1"/180 lbs
Position: SS
Team: Kentucky

Tyler Bell - Prospect Profile

Jim Callis - MLB - September 16th: "The highest unsigned pick (supplemental second-rounder by the Rays) in the 2024 Draft, Bell is eligible again as a sophomore after hitting .296/.385/.522 with 10 homers and 11 steals as a freshman. A smooth defender with a solid arm at shortstop, he's also a switch-hitter who could grow into 20-homer pop."

Joel Reuter - Bleacher Report - August 20th: "Bell was the highest unsigned draft pick in the 2024 draft class, turning down $1.5 million from the Tampa Bay Rays as the No. 66 overall pick to honor his commitment to Kentucky. He hit .296/.385/.522 with 17 doubles, 10 home runs, 46 RBI and 11 steals as a freshman, and he went 6-for-19 with three doubles in the Cape Cod League before suiting up for the Collegiate National Team."

Baseball America - July 16th: "Bell was one of the more productive freshmen in the SEC and hit .296/.385/.522 with 17 doubles and 10 home runs en route to earning a Team USA invite. He has a lean, athletic frame and has average swing decisions, though he’ll sometimes expand the zone against changeups. Bell has solid bat-to-ball skills, but he particularly feasts on fastballs."
