Team: Tennessee

Tegan Kuhns - Prospect Profile

Baseball America - July 8th: "As a draft-eligible sophomore in 2026, he posted a 3.56 ERA over 14 starts and 81 innings, with a 31% strikeout rate and 4.7% walk rate. Kuhns is a lean righthander with a 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame and long levers. He’s an excellent mover on the mound and repeats his three-quarters arm slot nicely, with some length to his arm action in the back."

Prospects 1500 - July 8th: "It feels like setting foot in Knoxville guarantees you a 100 MPH fastball, and Kuhns is that big arm this year. He has a smooth delivery and moves well, so there is little question he can stick in a rotation."

MLB -July : "Kuhns has the ingredients to pitch in the front half of a rotation. He's doing a better of job of repeating his athletic delivery as he gets stronger, which also could help him develop a more dependable third option. He battled his control and command for much of his freshman season but pounded the zone on the Cape and has continued to do so this spring."

Keith Law - The Athletic - July 1st: "He stayed away from the heart of the plate more after getting hit harder there early in the season, and he relegated his slider to fourth in his arsenal, using it even less than his seldom-seen straight changeup. I think he’ll need to develop a better changeup or even try a split to become a mid-rotation starter. "
