Justin Lebron - Prospect Profile

Baseball America - July 8th: "He’s got a great frame at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds with present strength and quick-twitch actions with his legs and hands. Lebron has plenty of bat speed and can flick the ball out of the park with ease. He also has a solid track record of handling high-end velocity, though his production versus fastballs 93 mph and up waned in 2026."

Prospects 1500 - July 8th: "Lebron’s struggles against SEC competition is concerning but the tools that had him in the conversation to go 1-1 coming into the season are still there."

MLB -July : "He has added 15 pounds and significant bat speed in college, giving him well-above-average raw power from the right side of the plate, and he also has good feel for driving balls in the air. All the rest of Lebron's tools grade as at least plus, as does his makeup, and some evaluators think he's even better than that as a defender despite an uncharacteristically erratic spring."

Keith Law - The Athletic - July 1st: "He is the sort of athlete on whom you bet, as he at least has the physical ability to make adjustments, but teaching a hitter who doesn’t recognize or hit spin to do those things is a difficult task for player development. He has real superstar upside, a 25-homer, 40-steal shortstop with plus defense, but too much risk for where I’ve heard him discussed this spring."
