Jackson Flora - Prospect Profile

Jim Callis - MLB - September 16th: "UC Santa Barbara spawned the first pitcher drafted in 2015 (Dillon Tate) and 2025 (Tyler Bremner) and has another candidate for that distinction next year. Flora logged a 3.60 ERA and an 86/17 K/BB ratio in 75 innings last spring while working with a lively fastball that sits at 96-97 mph and touches 100, and a sweeping low-80s slider."

Joel Reuter - Bleacher Report - August 20th: "Flora pitched alongside 2025 first-round pick Tyler Bremner in the Gauchos rotation this spring, and he is poised to step into the staff ace role after going 6-3 with a 3.50 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 86 strikeouts in 75 innings. He is a polished, high-floor arm with plus command, and the development of his changeup as a viable third offering will determine how high he can climb on draft boards."

Jonathan Mayo - MLB - July 17th: "After making a successful transition from the bullpen to the Gauchos' rotation this past spring, Flora could be ready to follow in 2025 first-rounder Tyler Bremner's footsteps with the ability to throw strikes with a fastball that flirts with triple digits and a low-80s slider that misses bats."

Baseball America - July 16th: "At 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds, Flora has a long, lean frame with room to add strength. There’s some effort in Flora’s delivery that’s accompanied by a head whack, but he has a whippy arm stroke and no shortage of arm speed. He relies heavily on his lethal fastball-slider combination, and the two made up for 94% of the pitches he threw this spring."
