Baseball America - July 8th: "He is filled-out and strong with a 6-foot-1, 195-pound frame and simple lefthanded swing with good rhythm, balance and timing. He’s a bit of a free-swinger who likes to pull the trigger and expands the zone more than some scouts would like, but he has produced everywhere he’s been and doesn’t pair that aggression with concerning strikeout questions or contact issues."

Prospects 1500 - July 8th: "While the defensive home is still a question, Prosek’s bat will be what carries his profile. His compact lefthanded stroke is more gap to gap power currently but the over the fence power will come as he matures."

MLB -July : "Because he's a below-average runner and lacks lateral quickness, Prosek fits better at third base than in the middle infield. He has seen some action at catcher this spring, playing well enough that scouts believe it's a path that may be worth exploring in pro ball -- though it would add to his development time and take a toll on his offensive production."

Keith Law - The Athletic - July 1st: "He takes a big stride and swings hard, producing plenty of hard contact with some swing and miss — 25 percent at tracked events, on the higher side but not alarming yet. He has a plus arm and will play on the left side of the infield, more likely third base than short."
