Carson Bolemon - Prospect Profile

Baseball America - July 8th: "The 6-foot-4, 210-pound lefthander seemed poised to be a slam dunk first-rounder, but his spring season in South Carolina introduced questions. After touching 96 mph and sitting in the mid 90s regularly in 2025, Bolemon came out with less velocity and a bit more effort to get to his top-end power in 2026. He often pitched in the 89-93 mph range, and his fastball was hit harder than teams expected."

Prospects 1500 - July 8th: "Brings the workhorse frame and advanced command."

MLB -July : "Bolemon's stuff is beyond reproach, starting with a 91-94 mph fastball that reaches 96, and he can throw it to either side of the plate with carry or downhill plane. He has a pair of plus breaking balls, with evaluators slightly preferring his 78-82 mph downer curveball to his low-80s sweeper. "

Keith Law - The Athletic - July 1st: "Bolemon was a little slow to ramp up this spring, so he’s no longer the top high school lefty on my board, but he’s still close and should get paid like a first-rounder. He’s up to 96 with a four-pitch mix, with the velocity a tick lower this spring, and he gets good depth on two breaking pitches from a three-quarters arm slot, with the curveball the better of the two."
