AJ Gracia - Prospect Profile
Jim Callis - MLB - September 16th: "The most prominent transfer in the 2025-26 cycle, Gracia followed coach Chris Pollard from Duke to Virginia after batting .293/.449/.558 with 15 homers and a Blue Devils-record 57 walks as a sophomore. He's an advanced hitter with solid power and good instincts in center field, though his average speed may make him more of a corner outfielder at the next level."Joel Reuter - Bleacher Report - August 20th: "One of the top players to enter the transfer portal following the 2025 season, Gracia landed at Virginia after hitting .299/.445/.559 with 29 home runs and 112 RBI in 120 games as a two-year starter at Duke. He is one of the more polished bats in the 2026 class, and he has playable power to all fields."
Jonathan Mayo - MLB - July 17th: "He's a 6-foot-3 left-handed hitter who shook off a slow start to his sophomore season and finished with 15 homers after hitting 14 his freshman year. He doesn't swing-and-miss much (12.6 percent K rate in 2025) and draws plenty of walks, with a chance to be a fast-moving college bat."
Baseball America - July 16th: "He finished the year with a .293/.449/.558 slash line with 10 doubles, a career-high 15 home runs and an impressive 57 walks to just 36 strikeouts. Gracia has a pro body and has an aesthetically pleasing swing in which he has plenty of hand speed."
