MLB.com - July 1st: "He has a hammer low-80s curveball, as well as a solid slider with a bit more power, though it sometimes blends into and detracts from his curve. He also shows the ability to kill spin on a low-80s changeup but hasn't needed to utilize it much."

Baseball America - June 25th: "Haley is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound lefthander with athleticism, exciting pure stuff and a background full of adversity. He had Tommy John surgery and then in 2022 was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. Haley continued to pitch through his chemotherapy treatment and finished his treatment with St. Jude Children’s hospital in Aug. 2022—after which he was declared cancer free."
