Nick Becker
Ht/Wt: 6' 3"/180 lbs
Position: SS
Team: Don Bosco HS (NJ)

Nick Becker - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - July 1st: "The right-handed-hitting infielder already has good bat-to-ball skills and excellent hitting instincts, finding the barrel consistently and showing the ability to make adjustments in the box. It’s easy to expect at least average power in the future as he gets stronger and learns to leverage his swing more, something he’s sure to do without sacrificing his hit tool."

Keith Law - The Athletic - July 1st: "His swing got much longer this spring as he’s trying to pull the ball in the air, leading to a more grooved path that pro pitchers will probably exploit pretty easily. He’s a good athlete who has a real chance to stick at short, with above-average speed and great hands."

Baseball America - June 25th: "He works with a slightly open stance in the box and has good rhythm and an advanced understanding of the zone that allows him to work counts, spit on pitches off the plate and consistently get on plane with lots of hard contact. He’s more of a line-drive contact hitter now, though he does have the sort of physical projection to dream on average game power at physical maturity."

Tyler Jennings - Just Baseball - March 24th: "Becker has extremely quick hands and effortless bat speed, showing off solid power output to his pull side. Becker finds the barrel consistently and his pure contact skills are advanced with minimal warts. It’s a well-rounded offensive profile with the potential for average or better raw juice."
