MLB.com - July 1st: "Now that he's a full-time hitter, Voit has significantly improved his approach, making better swing decisions and barreling balls more regularly. His right-handed stroke can get rotational at times and he can get pull-happy, but he also hits the ball hard and has feel for launching balls in the air."

Keith Law - The Athletic - July 1st: "Voit was one of the best hitters in the Big Ten this year with his combination of high contact rates and solid-average power, ending the season with more walks (40) than strikeouts (34). Just over half of his balls hit into play were hard-hit (95 mph exit velocity or greater), and he topped out at 111 mph, with solid bat speed and clearly plenty of strength behind it."

Baseball America - June 25th: "Voit exploded out of the gates as a junior with five home runs and 11 doubles in his first 19 games while cutting back on his strikeouts and showing power to all fields. When healthy and on the mound, Voit has thrown a fastball around 90 mph that touches 93, as well as a low-80s slider, mid-70s curveball and a changeup hovering around 80 mph."
