Ht/Wt: 6' 2"/210 lbs
Position: OF
Team: Texas

Max Belyeu - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - July 1st: "One of the best all-around offensive players in the college crop, Belyeu can hit for average and power while controlling the strike zone, though he was more aggressive than usual in 2025. He has a quick left-handed swing geared for hard contact, showing the ability to pull pitches for home runs or backspin them out of the park to the opposite field."

Keith Law - The Athletic - July 1st: "When healthy, he has power and excellent bat speed, with quick hands and a swing he repeats easily. He does expand the zone too often, chasing pitches well out of the zone 19 percent of the time prior to the injury (I’m ignoring what came after, since there’s reason to believe he wasn’t 100 percent)."

Baseball America - June 25th: "He’s close to a finished product physically, with a strong and filled-out, 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame. Belyeu is an aggressive hitter who likes to swing the bat and will expand the strike zone, though he has steadily refined his plate discipline year over year in college."

Tyler Jennings - Just Baseball - March 24th: "A bat-first prospect, Belyeu is a bit aggressive at the dish, recording a chase rate near the 30% mark, but he has excellent barrel feel, though he’s lacked the feel to lift the baseball like he did in 2024. Belyeu’s swing plane has become flatter and he’s hitting more grounders as a result."

A scout - Baseball America - March 10th: "He has good bat-to-ball skills in different parts of the zone which will allow it to be at least above average. Defensively, he will be at least average, and he has a plus arm. I can see plus power in him, which profiles well in right field."
