Cam Leiter - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - July 1st: "When he’s healthy, Leiter has a lot to offer a future Major League team. He’s a big, physical 6-foot-5 right-hander with huge stuff. He has the chance to have four legitimate pitches, starting with an explosive fastball that he cranks up to 98 mph and averaged 95 mph last year, throwing it with excellent extension."

Baseball America - June 25th: "After initially trying to rehab the injury, Leiter later underwent surgery that kept him out of the 2025 season entirely. When healthy, Leiter has shown one of the more explosive pitch mixes in the class. His 94-96 mph fastball has touched 99 with strong running and riding life through the zone that led to a 30% miss rate in 2024."

Joel Reuter - Bleacher Report - August 14th: "He finished 5-1 with a 4.63 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 35 innings over seven starts before injuries cut his season short, but he was bumping 99 mph with his fastball while showcasing good secondary stuff. His command still needs to improve, but his clean mechanics make it easy to envision another step forward."

Baseball America - July 17th: "His fastball has been up to 99 mph with run and ride through the zone, while his high-spin, high-80s power slider is a true swing-and-miss pitch. Leiter also features a low-80s curveball with big time depth and sharp, downward teeth."
