Alex Lodise - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - July 1st: "More of a third baseman and pitcher in high school, Lodise has developed into a solid middle infielder prospect with some juice from the right side of the plate. He’s showing the ability to make a lot of impact, and added strength to his frame has helped him find more power with the ability to hit the ball out to all fields."

Keith Law - The Athletic - July 1st: "With excellent bat speed, he offers the potential of a 20-homer second baseman if he hits enough to get to it. He makes contact in the zone, but has too much of a tendency to chase pitches out of the zone, especially sliders down and away, and he can expand the zone a little too much on heaters."

Baseball America - June 25th: "He’s a good mover in the batter’s box and does a nice job getting into his back hip and using his lower half, which leads to exciting power upside and plenty of hard-hit balls. He can drive the baseball to all fields, though his highest quality of contact goes to his pull side with above-average raw power."
