Baseball America - July 1st: "He doesn’t project for much raw power but should be a table-setting, top-of-the-lineup type who can get on base and create havoc with his speed—which is one of his best tools. Caldwell is a double-plus runner who accelerates out of the box quickly. He used that speed as a talented high school running back and should be a consistent threat to steal bases"

MLB.com - July 1st: "Caldwell is an advanced hitter with a mature approach who makes consistent line-drive contact to all fields. His 5-foot-9 frame means he has shorter levers and a smaller strike zone than most prospects, and he parlays them into a quick left-handed stroke and on-base ability."

Ayrton Ostly - USA Today - July 4th: "Caldwell lacks size (5 feet, 9 inches tall) but makes up for it with bat speed, aggression, and athleticism to hang in at centerfield."

Prospects Live - May 29th: "It's a sweet swing from the left side of the plate and he's shown excellent plate discipline, rarely chasing and showcasing plenty of patience, drawing walks aplenty. There's solid barrel consistency in his swing and he utilizes the gaps often, prioritizing his plus-plus speed on the basepaths as a result."
