Christian Moore
Ht/Wt: 6' 1"/210 lbs
Position: 2B/SS
Team: Tennessee

Christian Moore - Prospect Profile

Joel Reuter - Bleacher Report - July 7th: "He hit .375/.451/.797 with 34 home runs and 74 RBI in 72 games this spring, and his strong frame and 55-hit, 60-power offensive profile give him a real shot at being a 30-homer threat at the next level."

Ayrton Ostly - USA Today - July 4th: "Moore was one of the top hitters for the Volunteers this season and led the country in hits (111) and finished third in home runs (34) behind Condon and Caglianone. He played well on the big stage, too, with a home run in game three of the College World Series."

Baseball America - July 1st: "Moore is a broad-shouldered hitter with impressive bat speed who has used the entire field for his home run production. While he doesn’t have much physical projection remaining, he should have more than enough raw power to get to average or better home run totals if his newfound contact ability holds up."

MLB.com - July 1st: "His mindset, bat speed and strength give him power that plays to all fields and 25-30 homer potential, and he works deep counts in search of pitches to drive and draws a healthy amount of walks. His right-handed swing can get overly long and he still chases too many pitches out of the zone, but he's making more consistent contact in 2024."

Keith Law - The Athletic - May 22nd: "It’s not a pretty swing with a super-wide setup and no stride, which makes me question whether the power will hold up with a wood bat, and in my in-person looks he struggled to pick up offspeed stuff. He’s a fringy defender at best at second and could end up in left field."
