Charlie Condon
Ht/Wt: 6' 6"/210 lbs
Position: 1B/OF
Team: Georgia

Charlie Condon - Prospect Profile

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - March 18th: "Through 21 games he has hit .521/.648/1.192 with 13 home runs, eight doubles and nearly twice as many walks (23) as strikeouts (12). Condon has a chance for a plus hit tool with 70-grade raw power which could be more than enough to make him the 1-1 pick in the 2024 draft class."

Joe Doyle - Future Star Series - March 18th: "The swing can get a little long at times, and there’s some questions on his ability to make enough contact on pitches outside of the strike zone to be a truly consistent pure hitter at the next level. That’s to be expected of a 6-foot-6-inch frame."

MLB.com - March 8th: "He has plus-plus raw power that plays from the left-field line to right-center and his combination of bat speed, strength and leverage in his 6-foot-6 frame allows him to mishit balls yet still drive them out of the park. Despite his long arms, he keeps his right-handed swing relatively compact and controls the strike zone while repeatedly making loud contact against all types of pitching."

Keith Law - The Athletic - March 7th: "Condon made a small adjustment to his hand position from last summer and has exploded this spring, hitting .568/.636/1.273 through the third weekend of the season. He's also playing at least a capable enough third base to separate himself from the first base-only types in the class, although he’s most likely to end up a plus defender in right or left."

Kiley McDaniel - ESPN - February 23rd: "Condon has 30-homer upside and is a first baseman or maybe corner outfielder, but will go in the top 10 if he keeps hitting."

Aram Leighton - Just Baseball - February 15th: "Condon’s defensive future is still up for debate, but his monstrous offensive upside more than compensates. Standing at 6-foot-6, 215 pounds, Condon has flashed double plus raw power (110 MPH 90th percentile exit velocity) with surprisingly decent bat-to-ball skills for a prospect of his profile who also redshirted his freshman year."
