Joel Reuter - Bleacher Report - July 7th: "The 6'2", 195-pound southpaw has four quality pitches, including a fastball that has touched 98 mph and a pair of breaking pitches that have both flashed plus. It's his overall athleticism on the mound that helps separate him from the rest of the high school pitching class, and he played center field when he wasn't pitching this spring."

Prospects Live - May 29th: "He's got feel for two different breaking balls, a low-70s curveball and an upper-70s slider, with the slider projecting better at the present time with firm shape. He'll need to add power to each pitch as he grows into his body."

Keith Law - The Athletic - May 22nd: "He’s up to 97 with a curveball that’s gone from a 35 early in the spring to a 50 or 55 now, and he’s super athletic with a solid delivery that’s really online to the plate. As high school pitchers go, he’s got the best combination of present ability and future projection."

Kiley McDaniel - ESPN - May 8th: "Caminiti is the best of the prep pitchers with clear positive traits that teams want. He's one of the youngest players in the draft after reclassifying from the 2025 class and has real on-field athleticism as a pro-level outfield prospect."
