Ht/Wt: 6' 2"/200 lbs
Position: RHP
Team: Tennessee

Chase Dollander - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - May 19th: "Dollander's devastating arsenal begins with a 95-97 mph fastball that peaks at 99 and produces elite swing-and-miss rates with its combination of velocity and carry. His best secondary pitch is a tight slider that parks in the mid-80s and reaches 91 mph, and it can be a well-above-average offering with sweep at its best."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - May 11th: "There’s no doubt Dollander has slipped this spring. He simply hasn’t been the same pitcher in 2023 that he was in 2022. The stuff isn’t as crisp. The command isn’t as precise. His walk rate has doubled from 4.2% to 8.5%."

Jim Callis - MLB.com - May 4th: "Dollander entered the year as the clear best pitching prospect, but now teams are struggling to figure out what to make of an inconsistent spring during which he has lasted five innings in just one of his five starts."

Kiley McDaniel - ESPN - May 3rd: "When he's on, he has four pitches that flash plus along with starter command, but both have been a notch worse a few times this spring. Right now, he'd fit somewhere in the final 20 spots of a pro top 100 list."

Prospects Live - April: "The Volunteers' ace has experienced some issues replicating the stuff and command of his breakout 2022 campaign, but still possesses eye catching athleticism and a potent three pitch arsenal--mid 90s fastball with above average carry, sweeping low to mid 80s slider, and a tailing high 80s changeup.
