Jack Leiter - Prospect Profile

Prospects Live - Nov. 11th: "A draft eligible sophomore that's polished beyond his years, Leiter's stuff has always been projectable and early reports this fall saw Leiter showing a significant bump in velocity sitting 93-96 mph. His secondaries are still progressing but he has a trio of pitches in his curveball, changeup, and slider that all have a shot at average."

Ian Smith - Prospects 365 - Nov. 8: "Jack Leiter has one of the better fastball in this entire class, and he has popped a few 97s this fall. We’ll receive affirmation of the pitch’s eliteness this spring. He pairs that with a deep bag of secondaries including a slider and curveball that both show above average at the very least."

JD Linhardt - Diamond-Digest.com - Aug. 19th: "Leiter looks to be a lock for a top five selection in the 2021 draft thanks to three above-average to plus pitches, good athleticism, flashes of elite command, and statistical dominance in his short sample size in 2020."

Jonathan Mayo - MLB.com - June 17: "He pitched in just four games before the shutdown, but quickly vaulted to the top of the 2021 list as a Draft-eligible sophomore with a fastball that averaged around 92 mph and touched 96, to go along with good feel for a curve, slider and changeup."
