Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - June 18: "On the diamond, he’s a talented righthander and shortstop, with most teams preferring him on the mound, but a handful are either on him as a hitter or open-minded to letting him try the two-way experiment. Chandler has touched 97 mph this spring, but more typically works in the 89-93 mph range with his fastball."

MLB - June: "After working with an 88-93 mph fastball last summer, Chandler has made a leap to operating at 92-95 and touching 97 this spring. He possesses a quick arm and also has added power to his downer curveball, which now resides in the upper 70s, and his less-used slider, which gets up to 85 mph. He shows trust in his low-80s changeup as well."

Prospects Live - May 31: "Chandler is one of the more athletically-gifted pitchers in the class. His operation and ability on the mound is impressive. He makes it look very easy. For now, he's generally 92-95, touching 97 with a hard, tight slider and big, sharp curveball. He’s also got a changeup that has been inconsistent, flashing plus grades on occasion."
