Nick Bitsko
Ht/Wt: 6' 4"/225 lbs
Position: RHP
Team: Central Bucks East HS (PA)

Nick Bitsko - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - May : "Bitsko was up to 96-97 mph at East Coast Pro, with all fastballs in the 92- to 96-mph range. He combines it with a hard breaking ball that shows plus shape, thrown in the 78- to 82-mph range to get a lot of swings and misses. While he doesn't throw it as much, he does have solid feel for a changeup."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - May 13th: "Because his Central Bucks East High team wasn’t scheduled to start until April, Bitsko didn’t throw a pitch this season. Now, teams will be left to decide whether the glimpses of talent they saw last summer were enough to sign him out of a strong commitment to Virginia."

Kiley McDaniel - ESPN - May 13th: "Bitsko reclassified to the 2020 class in January, and his spring never got started, so clubs have only a handful of innings from two events in the summer (when he wasn't a priority to scout) and one heavily attended preseason bullpen session in the spring."

Ian Smith - Prospect 365 - Apr. 26th: "An old school, overhead delivery allows his fastball to comfortably sit 93-95 mph and topping at 98; Bitsko pairs it well with one of the best curveballs in the prep class. He looks like a true innings eater at 6-foot-4 and 225 lbs., and he’s shown-up against the top competition he’s been exposed to."

Dan Zielinki - Baseball Prospect Journal - Mar. 22nd: "Nick Bitsko is a 6-4, 220-pound right-hander who reclassified from the 2021 draft to this year’s draft. He’s in the running to be the top prep arm in this year’s draft and offers a lot of projection and potential to profile as a potential No. 1 pitcher in pro ball."

Keith Law - The Athletic - Mar. 16th: "He’s been up to 97 with a plus curveball, getting good depth on the latter pitch from a high slot but with some effort in the delivery."
