Masyn Winn
Ht/Wt: 5'11"/180 lbs
Position: RHP/SS
Team: Kingwood HS (TX)

Masyn Winn - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - May : "His low-80s changeup isn't as consistent as his fastball and curve but can give him a third plus offering at its best. His size and the effort in his delivery lead to questions as to whether he can hold up as a starter, but his athleticism and lightning-fast arm help his cause."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - May 13th: "All of his stuff likely plays up thanks to some deception that comes from a short and quick arm stroke. Some inconsistency and his smaller frame lead to legitimate reliever question marks."

Prospects Live - Mar. 24th: "Winn is under 6?', but he is well put-together and uses his frame well, both at short and on the mound, to be a legit two-way prospect. He has a two-pitch plus offering, with a fastball that works into the upper 90’s and generates plenty of weak grounders low in the zone."

Jeff Ellis - 247 Sports - Feb. 14th: "Masyn Winn is a premium athlete who is one of the best two-way players in the class. If he went to Arkansas, I could see him playing both short and pitching for the Razorbacks. He touches the upper 90s with his fastball, which also has some of the best spin rates of any prep arm. "

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - Jan. 31st : "A legit two-way prospect, Winn has enormous arm strength both on the mound (where he’s been up to 97-98 mph) and at shortstop."
