David Calabrese - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - May : "His speed stands out the most and it's close to top of the scale, with some evaluators recording 80 grades for the outfielder. It should allow him to be a basestealing threat and to cover a lot of ground in the outfield. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has a loose and easy swing geared for hard contact."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - May 13th: "Calabrese has a simple, efficient swing from the left side. At 5-foot-10, 160 pounds he doesn’t offer much power, but there are scouts who think he could grow into average raw power in the future. He shows good baseball instincts on both sides of the ball and should be a safe bet to stick in center field thanks to those instincts, as well as his athleticism and speed."

Keith Law - The Athletic - Mar. 16th: "Calabrese is an 80 runner and potential 70 or better defender in center field who has shown well so far in exhibitions against pro pitching while playing for the Canadian junior national team."
