Cole Wilcox - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - May : "Wilcox has some of the best pure stuff in the Draft. His fastball usually ranges from 92-97 mph and can reach 100 with some sink and armside run. Both of his mid-80s secondary pitches show signs of becoming plus offerings, with his fading changeup a tick more reliable than his power slider."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - May 13th: "Wilcox pitched mostly off of a 93-96 mph fastball as a starter, with a mid-80s slider that also grades as plus. He also throws a changeup in the same mid-80s range that could give him an average or better third offering. "

Kiley McDaniel - ESPN - May 13th: "Wilcox is an eligible sophomore who hasn't improved that much at Georgia but at various times has hit 100 mph, shown a plus changeup, an above-average slider and the command to be a starter."

Leans on two plus pitches in the fastball and slider, with the fastball often sitting at 97-99 mph. Another sophomore eligible player in this year’s class, Wilcox only has 10 starts under his belt in his collegiate career, but he’s shown the most potential in that role."
