Carmen Mlodzinski
Ht/Wt: 6' 2"/215 lbs
Position: RHP
Team: South Carolina

Carmen Mlodzinski - Prospect Profile

MLB.com - April: "He flashed a plus curveball in high school but has scrapped that for a low-80s slider with power and depth that sometimes morphs into a cutter. He also shows feel for a sinking changeup and could have three plus pitches once he's fully developed."

Prospects Live - Mar. 24th: "Mlodzinskiís arsenal is headlined by a mid-90s fastball that has some serious sink. He complements it with a solid low-80s slider which lacks consistency a bit, and a changeup which heís shown feel for but is still a bit behind."

James Weisser - Off The Bench Baseball - Mar. 23rd: "He does have talent and does a good job of throwing strikes consistently but will need to be more dominant to move up my draft board."

Dan Zielinki - Baseball Prospect Journal - Mar. 22nd: "Carmen Mlodzinski missed most of last season with a broken foot but thrived in the Cape Cod League. The 6-2, 232-pound right-hander has the intangibles to be a future top-of-the-rotation arm."

Keith Law - The Athletic - Mar. 16th: "He has a short arm stroke that gives him deception but will likely be tough to repeat."

JJ Cooper - Athlon Sports - Mar. 10th: "...he came out in the summer in the Cape Cod League and showed everyone what he could do ó keep hitters off balance with a mid-90s fastball and a biting slider."

Jeff Ellis - 247 Sports - Feb. 14th: "Carmen Mlodzinski is hard to nail down at this point. He missed almost his entire sophomore year due to a broken foot. He pitched in the Cape and was one of the best strikeout pitchers in the whole league, which has been a reliable indicator of future college success"

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - Jan. 31st : "The 6-foot-2, 215-pound righthander saw his stuff take a big jump over the summer, where he was the best pitcher in the Cape Cod League. Heís got a mid-90s fastball thatís been up to 97-98 mph with heavy sinking action, as well as a slider, cutter and a changeup he improved during the fall."
