Seth Johnson - Prospect Profile

MLB.com: "Johnson has an effortless arm action and delivery, looking very natural on the mound despite his inexperience. The ball comes out of his hand so easily, with his fastball topping out at 98 mph and usually ranging from 91-95. His slider is his best secondary offering, a plus pitch in the mid-80s at its best but also still inconsistent."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - May 22nd: "This spring, the results have been mixed for Johnson, but he’s still shown all of the impact stuff that he flashed during the fall. He has plus fastball velocity with natural running life, but that occasionally hurts him, as he doesn’t have the command necessary to avoid the pitch from running back over the heart of the plate."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - Mar. 20th: "After struggling with the bat at Louisburg, Johnson hopped on the mound and was in the upper 80s and low 90s with impressive athleticism, but a broken finger limited him to just six innings. Campbell took a shot on his arm strength, and while he has yet to prove it during games, scouts were impressed with his raw stuff during the fall. He’s been in the 92-95 mph range with two separate breaking balls that are both average."
