Josh Jung - Prospect Profile

MLB.com: "Jung has a controlled approach at the plate, repeatedly barreling balls to all fields with a sound right-handed swing. He lets his power come naturally and his bat speed and strength should translate into 25 or more homers per year once he turns on more pitches, which he hasn't done with much frequency this spring."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - May 22nd: "He is big and strong, but his approach at the plate emphasizes hitting for average over power. He has a solid awareness of the strike zone and is happy to work deep in counts. Falling behind doesn’t seem to bother him either, as he’s shown he can work back from disadvantaged counts."

More power should come for him down the road as he learns how to pull the ball more aggressively, but for now Jung seems content to keep his hands inside the ball and drive it the other way."
