Bryson Stott - Prospect Profile

MLB.com: "Nearly all of Stott's tools grade out as at least above-average. He has the chance to be a plus hitter, with very advanced bat to ball skills. He's never overmatched and always seems comfortable in the box, handling good velocity and offspeed stuff equally well, while walking more than he's struck out in his college career."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - May 22nd: "Questions have been raised about his potential offensive upside in spite of the numbers he had posted in the Mountain West Conference, but Stott quickly showed he was more than just a slap hitter early this spring. He’s more consistently tapped into his all-fields power by getting his lower half more into his swing and increasing his strength."

Carlos Collazo - Baseball America - Mar. 20th: "Stott joined the Collegiate National Team this summer and impressed the coaching staff with his defensive work up the middle, with improved footwork as well as solid body control and accurate throws to the bag. He showed solid feel for the barrel, but scouts were disappointed with the amount of impact Stott generated with an approach that was too frequently slap-heavy."

Keith Law - ESPNFeb. 26th: "Stott is a potential long-term shortstop with a 60 arm. He's an average runner with an above-average present hit tool and more power to come."

Kyler Peterson - Prospects Live - Dec. 12th: "Stott is a sure thing to stick at short, showing off quick feet and a good arm. There is some bat wrap, but the lefty hitter raked .365 at UNLV in 2018 with 14 stolen bases."
