Adley Rutschman
Ht/Wt: 6' 2"/215 lbs
Position: C
Team: Oregon State

Adley Rutschman - Prospect Profile

Baseball America - Carlos Collazo and Teddy Cahill - July 6: "isted at 6-foot-2, 216 pounds, Rutschman is a physical, switch-hitting catcher. He is a patient hitter who has burgeoning power, though to this point it has mostly played to the gaps. He is an asset behind the plate, where he has well a above-average arm and does a good job of receiving, blocking and managing the staff."

MLB.com - Jonathan Mayo - June 8: "Rutschman might be the best all-around backstop in the class. He's a plus defender with a gun for an arm and excellent receiving skills. Rutschman is a switch-hitter with bat speed and plenty of raw power to tap into."

Through the Fence Baseball - Michael Dault - June 6: "Rutschman eerily compares to newest Giant Joey Bart. Hes the best all-around backstop in his class. Scouts rate him a plus defender with a rifle for an arm. And hes a switch-hitter with raw power that GMs will drool over in the 2019 MLB Draft."
