Kodi Medeiros's Player Profile

Fastball – Meideros gets very good movement out of his fastball that sits in the 90-92 range and will occasionally get up to 95.

Slider – Not including Carlos Rodon, Medeiros has the best slider of any left-hander in this class and will give left-handed hitters fits, sitting in the low 80’s with plus tilt and bite.

Change – I haven’t seen a change, but scouts have told me he has thrown one with very little effect. It’s difficult to see Medeiros being a starter at the next level unless he develops this pitch or a split.

Command – Medeiros throws strikes and hits his spots relatively well from a very low – borderline sidearm—three-quarter’s slot and he repeats his delivery well. His arm action is clean and lose, and there’s very little effort in the delivery, as well; but you do not see very many pitchers start at the next level with his arm slot.
