Erick Fedde's Player Profile

Fastball – Fedde’s fastball has been inconsistent, at times sitting 90-92 but occasionally hitting 93-95 with good run. Part of this might be because he’s still filling out, but needs to show the latter more often.

Slider – Fedde’s slider will also flash plus at times, sitting in the 81-84 range with very good tilt. When he’s at his best he can also get this pitch over for a strike, but right now it’s mostly a swing and miss pitch when ahead in the count.

Change – While Fedde’s fastball and slider both flash plus, Fedde’s change will occasionally flash as an average pitch, but he doesn’t have very good feel for the pitch and there isn’t much movement, either.

Command – It really depends on what day you see Fedde, but mostly his command is slightly below-average, and he struggles to repeat his delivery at times from a low three-quarters slot. He’s improved, but it’s still got a ways to go.
