Position: RHP
Team: Louisiana St.

Aaron Nola's Player Profile

Fastball – Nola isn’t over powering, but does sit in the low 90’s with his Fastbal, occasionally touching 94. His fastball does get plenty of sink, however, and he does a good job of keeping the ball down in the zone and should get plenty of groundball outs.

Curve – Nola’s curve is his best pitch, a breaking-ball with good spin and depth that sits in the high 70’s. When Nola is at his best, it’s the one offering he has that can make guys swing and miss consistently.

Change – Nola’s change up is average and will occasionally flash plus, sitting in the low 80’s with inconsistent arm speed but with some fade.

Command – Nola doesn’t put guys on base via walks, and generally hits his spots. He’s got a clean delivery with a low three-quarters slot – nearly side-arm really -- and while he doesn’t have elite command, he does a good enough job of hitting his spots and keeping the ball below the waist when necessary.
